Upon entering the worn down library of Wehnimer's Landing, you notice an old and dusty book slightly out of place in the book shelf. You open it's time-worn pages and soon discover that it is the Brotherhood of Corruption's legendary Lost Tomes of Association. You take your chances, and begin to read: Andorpin Karsulwkan: Head Brother/ Grandmaster Incendius Alqasat: Head Brother/ Head of Admissions The BROTHERHOOD of CORRUPTION is an on-line secret society situated within the community of GemStone 3. It is headed by Andorpin Karsulwkan (myself) and Incendius Alqasat, the two founding fathers of this organization.Our organization will meet once or twice a week to discuss various going-on's withing the game and Brotherhood. This society is for EVIL PEOPLE ONLY!!!!! If you are not worried about causing havoc on the game, this organization isn't for you. Upon joining you will be given jobs to fullfill. Essentially, you will be similair to a Bounty Hunter. It is the job of Incendius and myself to advertise our business and get jobs for the members. Upon joining this organization one must agree by several things: 1.) all members are too refer to each other as "Brother" 2.) there is a monthly membership fee of 500 silvers which is to be paid to Incendius, the Brotherhood's treasurer 3.) Upon admittance you will be given a trial test to quiz you on your loyalty to the Brotherhood 4.) All members must swear by a vow of silence.If caught in the act of disruptive behavior, never admit to being a Brother. If you are found leaking information, you will be terminated. Do not discuss the Brotherhood in any public areas or over the amunet. The only safe places to talk are in my (Andorpin's) home at the meetings and private booths. 5.) Upon receiving membership into the Brotherhood, you can never back out. If you miss two or more meetings, you will be considered a deserter and may find yourself at the top of the bounty list. 6.) Since Incendius and myself will be advertising for you, we will set up meetings between your character's and your clients. You will settle the fee with your client. Remember, 20% of the agreed upon fee must be given back to the Brotherhood to assist in wardrobe and other luxeries. Holding out on us is considered punishable by death, as is deserting. Basically, have fun as a Brother. Remember, only Evil people should join.If you find that doing evil and disruptive acts on Gemstone not to your liking, then do not join this organization. Upon reading the above information, the Brotherhood assumes that you are willing to join our organization and will swear by the oath of silence. If you are discovered as an informant you will be confronted on Gemstone. After several minutes of intense perusing of the Tome, you set it back into it's original place and ponder over what you read. Should you make a liftime commitment and join a society of mercenaries? Or should you continue your dull lifestyle of hunting kobolds and sea nymphs? You soon make up your mind and stroll out the doors of the library, seeking to talk to Andorpin or Incendius about registration. IMPORTANT: INCENDIUS AND ANDORPIN BOTH HAVE PROVED THEMSELVES WORTHY OF THE TITLES HIGH-BROTHER. THEY ARE CURRENTLY IN LOCKOUT BECAUSE OF THEIR DEEDS HOWEVER. THESE ARE THE RISKS YOU TAKE BY JOINING. TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE OF THE BROTHERHOOD, PLEASE HELP BY PROTESTING THE RELEASE OF ANDORPIN AND INCENDIUS. YOUR HELP IS GREATLY NEEDED! THE SOONER WE ARE RELEASED, THE SOONER THE BROTHERHOOD CAN BECOME ACTIVE IN THE GEMSTONE SOCIETY. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
